Kirk Blanchette Begins Role as President of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Engineered Woods
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (July 1, 2025) – Kirk Blanchette has succeeded Brian Carlson as the President of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Engineered Woods (HEW), one of the companies within the family-owned ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Corporation (ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½) portfolio of businesses.
Kirk brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, corporate strategy and leadership to this role. He previously served as the Chief Financial Officer & Vice President of Strategy for HEW, leading the Marketing, Strategy, Finance & Accounting, Purchasing and Risk functions. Prior to this, he was responsible for the Logistics, Sales & Operations Planning, Inside Sales, Information Technology and Industrial/OEM functions as well. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Investments from Babson College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Brian, Kirk’s predecessor, has retired effective today, following a successful 30-year tenure at ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ and ten years serving as HEW’s President.
