Since its launch in FY 2018, the INCLUDE Project has funded hundreds of research awards across the three areas: basic science studies on chromosome 21, large cohort development for individuals with Down syndrome (DS), and the inclusion of individuals with DS in clinical trials. INCLUDE continues to expand its DS research portfolio through innovative funding opportunities and by strengthening career pathways for trainees, early-stage investigators, and established researchers with expertise in DS-related conditions. By advancing research on co-occurring conditions, the INCLUDE Project is driving progress toward improved health outcomes and potential treatments for individuals with Down syndrome.
